Robert Lennon brings experience in complementary areas that will contribute meaningfully to SB Pictures’ success: entrepreneurship, creative production, and a strategic mindset to integrate it all effectively. His professional foundation began with...
seven years of service in the U.S. Army’s Military Intelligence Corps. From a young age, he learned to manage people and lead teams to successful outcomes by thinking outside the box—skills essential for analyzing, adjusting, and overcoming obstacles in any situation. After transitioning out of the military, Robert embarked on his first civilian career as a professional martial artist. Teaching and competing in the U.S., Germany, and South Korea, he expanded his capabilities by working both in front of and behind the camera as an actor, stuntman, fight choreographer, writer, and production coordinator.
Recognizing that physical performance has a natural limit, Robert began shifting into film and animation production around 2000. After five years in the field, he noticed that many filmmakers focused solely on creating content, often neglecting the business aspects such as sales and distribution—areas essential in any other industry.
This insight led him to pivot toward marketing. With early exposure to marketing through his father’s company, Robert launched his own firm, where he quickly developed expertise in all facets of marketing—from brand development to product distribution. He has since worked as a business consultant, project manager, creative director, and business development manager for various companies.
Understanding that media production is a form of project management, Robert completed the Project Management Master’s Course at Villanova University in 2008. He has applied those skills across media production, marketing, website development, and Health Information Exchanges (HIEs), increasing both efficiency and business acumen.
Today’s smart companies prioritize hiring the right personality for each role. While skills can be taught, personality cannot. According to the Strengths Finder 2.0 assessment, Robert’s top five strengths are Strategic, Achiever, Learner, Positivity, and Activator. On the Myers-Briggs personality profile, he identifies as an ENTJ—the same type found in many successful CEOs. This underscores his natural fit for leadership and strategic execution.
Robert’s experience in creative production and entrepreneurship, coupled with his high-performing personality, positions him to significantly support SB Pictures. His contributions are expected to enhance project evaluation, obstacle resolution, and collaborative success with business partners in pursuing the most effective and direct paths forward.
